Just WTF is going on. From what has happened, I believe my hosting company is shifting servers. I can understand that that is a move to better service, faster computers, and what-not. What I CAN’T FOR SANITY’S SAKE understand is why it’s happening so often in such a short span of time.

Something like this happened before a long time ago, so I wasn’t really bothered by the recent re-occurrence. But after more than a week and it still going on, my tolerance is really dropping. I can conveniently use it to explain my lack of posting for the past week or so to anyone who asks, but that’s not the point.

Anyway, even before this, which merely gives me more reason to do so, I have decided to shift hosts. Goodbye Ultrahostings, you have been a nice host, with occassional hiccups like the recent one. The problem is, web hosting services are supposed to be damn consistent with their service. One hiccup is not to be tolerated, even if this is shared server hosting. They didn’t even have the decency to send me a mail or two, notifying and apologising for the problems.

I have my sights set on Hostmonster and Dreamhost. Both offer insane deals for very low prices. Now I just need get more feedback, and find someone who can help me pay the fee first.
