Hi, I was the Editor of HWM. Let me first thank you for the well thought our analysis of the magazine. Now that I am out, I'd just like to let you know that there were "challenges" that made it either impossible or extremely difficult to adopt your suggestion of "pointing out a few bad products every issue or so" or awarding overly low scores. Nevertheless, the team I worked with did strive to provide as much technical depth to our writing to let readers like yourself know what you need to so as to make a good, informed decision.

yo haha i don't know if you will still see this, but from a philosophical pov, i guess that question depends on whether you're a monist, or a dualist. because if you're a monist, you'll support the stand that the mind and body are one - hence body swaps are either impossible (for extreme monists), or you'll lose everything when you swap. but if you're a dualist, you'll support the stand that body and mind are separate entities, which means that you can possibly bring your mind over to another body and vice versa. haha it's a pretty cool think to ponder over - but i guess at the end of the day there's hardly a clear-cut answer till you're sure of whose side you're on, the monists or dualists.
